About

Hi, I’m a guitarist and composer from Cincinnati, Ohio where I work from my home studio. With a background in guitar performance, audio engineering, and live sound, I write and produce for music libraries and media clients.

I love writing music that helps people connect emotionally with their visual experience. I want to write whatever works for the project in close collaboration with whoever’s project it is to make sure we create great media.

From my time playing guitar in rock bands, trumpet in the high school band, timpani in the college orchestra, and singing in various choirs, I have a deep well of musical experience that has shaped my style. With a love of rock, jazz, electronic, and classical music, it has come pretty natural to work in these styles. But also, I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with artists who specialize in other styles and genres.

I grew up outside of Dayton, OH where blues, funk and classic rock have strong roots, but I have also lived in California, Arizona, Massachusetts, Argentina, and Austria for extended amounts of time where local styles became part of my musical vocabulary.

I eventually studied Commercial Music Production at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (UC-CCM) where I studied composition, conducting, jazz theory and audio production.

For the last several years I’ve been writing for music libraries that have gotten my music placed on such networks as NBC, Bravo and ESPN Radio.
